The location of friendly matches between the women’s national teams of Russia and Belarus is determined.
The HFR web-site informs, that the matches will be held on April 16-17 in the Sports Palace Zvezdny in Astrakhan. It is quite possible to call the arena in Astrakhan successful for the Russian team. It was Zvezdny arena, where the Russian national team won a ticket to the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in Spring 2016, which were won. And in the same place in 2017 Yevgeni Trefilov’s team defeated the national team of Poland in the struggle for an exit in the playoffs of the World Cup.
The coaching staff of the Russian national team will announce the line-up for the upcoming matches in the beginning of April. The players will hold a short training session in Novogorsk from 10 to 15 of April to prepare for the matches.
The start time of April matches with the Belarus national team will be announced later.
