The decisive Final Four match of the women’s Cup of Russia finished with the victory of HC CSKA.
The capital team beat HC Rostov-Don in the penalty shootout (30:29, penalty 7:6) and won the national Cup for the third consecutive time. Previously, HC Zvezda achieved such success in 2009-2011. HC Rostov-Don has the record for most consecutive wins — 7 trophies (1015-2021).
Rostov-Don still holds the record for the total amount of trophies — 11. HC Zvezda has 4 victories, 3 victories are on the account of HC CSKA, HC Lada won once.
