The Chairman of the High Council of the Handball Federation of Russia Sergey Shishkarev is running for vice-president of the Russian Olympic Committee again. He informed TASS about it.
Shishkarev became Vice President in 2022, the elections of the new leadership of the ROC will be held on December, 13 at the Olympic meeting.
— I will run for the position. I proposed my candidacy as a specialist who will be responsible for international activity at the level of the IOC. There are really goods contacts with European, Arab countries, with national Olympic committees. I suppose, my experience and knowledge will be useful, especially taking into consideration upcoming return to the international arena, — the Head of the HFR said.
