HC Victor terminated the contract with the head coach Vladimir Poletaev in advance

The press service of the Stavropol club informs that HC Victor terminated the contract with Vladimir Poletaev in connection with his statement of inability to perform duties of the head coach for health reasons.
 
Vladimir Yuryevich is the Stavropol club’s ward and international master of sports. He played for the main team from 1996 to 2009 and was its captain from 2000 to 2009. He has been working in the coaching staff of HC Victor since 2019. Poletaev headed the club before the season-2023/24.
 
The duties of the head coach will be carried out by Sergey Klenov till the end of the season. To recall, HC Victor will host the first Super League semi-final match with HC Zenit.
