The Russian player Anna Vyakhireva is the best right back of the season-2023/24

The European Handball Federation announced the results of the voting for the title of the best players of the season in each position. 
 
The winners of the right back position among men and women were defined. They are Anna Vyakhireva, who plays for the Norwegian club Vipers Kristiansand, and a frenchman Dika Mem from FC Barcelona Handbol. To recall, another Russian player Valeria Maslova was also presented in this nomination. 
 
The symbolic teams will be announced during the draw for the group rounds of the men’s and women’s Champions League. After that the best player of the season will be chosen from the symbolic team. Their names will be announced at the gala-concert of the EHF Excellence Awards in Vienna on December 14 during the final weekend of the women’s European Championship-2024.
