The Handball Federation of Russia accepted the invitation of its colleagues from Iran to participate in the international friendly tournament, which will be held from 11 to 16 March in Shiraz.
Besides the men’s national teams of Iran and Russia, the national team of Belarus will also play in the tournament. The participation of the fourth team is also considered.
The Russian national team will gather on the training base in Novogorsk on the evening of March 9. Two workouts will be held on Monday and the flight to Shiraz is scheduled for March 11. Lev Voronin’s wards will return to Moscow on March 16. The exact schedule of matches will be announced later.
The official website of the HFR informs that the squad of the national team of Russia will be announced next week.
